Fishing
The communal pond of Blâmont is open to any fisherman with a municipal fishing card. Pike, carp, pikeperch await you in more than 3 hectares reserved for fishing.

Fishing regulations
Art. 1. - Communal pond.
- Fishing is authorized on the communal pond of Blâmont, only to fishermen with a communal fishing license.
- Fishing is prohibited at the Pâtis pond.
- The municipality reserves the right, without compensation, to close access to the pond during some events.
- Fishing dates, these regulations and all useful information, are available at the town hall, or on the town's websites http://www.blamont.fr and http://www.blamont-loisirs.fr.
Art. 2. - Fishing license.
- All fishermen must have a valid municipal fishing card, and present it on request from the municipal authorities or their delegates and controllers.
- The card is only valid with the identity completed inside (and identity photograph if the card is annual). The card holder must justify his identity with any document..
- This personal, non-reciprocal card, valid only on the communal pond of Blâmont, is
- not transferable,
- neither refundable.
Art. 3. - Prices.

The annual card is a flat rate for the entire calendar year (January 1 to December 31).
Art. 4. - Fishing techniques.
- For annual passes over 12 years old, and for the daily pass, 3 rods are authorized.
- 1 single rod, held in hand, is authorized for children under 12 years old.
- Boat fishing is prohibited.
- Fishing using a remote-control boat (bait) is allowed.
Art. 5. - Catches.
- Catches authorized per day: 3 predators.
- Minimum catch size: pike 60 cm - pike perch 50 cm. All smaller catches must be returned to the water.
- No-kill for the carp.
Art. 6. - Schedules.
- Fishing cannot be done between half an hour before sunrise, and half an hour after sunset.
- Night fishing is prohibited (except specific manifestations).
Art. 7. - Respect for the area.
- Swimming is prohibited.
- Ground fires are prohibited.
- It is forbidden to cut trees and shrubs.
- Fishermen must take away their rubbish.
- Fishermen must respect all rules on the area: camping prohibited, dogs on a leash (and swimming prohibited in the pond), etc.
Art. 8. - Sanctions.
In case of violations, or non-compliance with the controllers and the places, the fishing rights will be withdrawn by the controller on site, and a sanction will be taken with a fine stamp, possibility of legal proceedings, and final exclusion without refund of the fishing right.
